murine MAb against human tPA

Description
The monoclonal antibody ADG3504 (clone HD-tPA 4.1) is a murine monoclonal antibody, subclass IgG1 recognizing the human Tissue-type Plasminogen Activator (tPA). Mice were immunized with purified native human tPA. The antibody has been purified from cell culture supernatant using Protein G affinity chromatography. The antibody reacts with both human single-chain tPA, two-chain tPA.

Presentation
Screw capped vial containing 250 µg of purified antibody in PBS pH 7.4, 0.01 % ProClin300. The IgG concentration is given on the vial label. Spin the vial briefly before opening.

Storage and Stability
Store the antibody at 2°-8°C. For long-term storage the antibody should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C or colder. It is recommended to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Applications
ELISA
The antibody is suitable as detection antibody in ELISAs. (1)
Inhibition
The antibody blocks tPA-mediated plasminogen activation in a chromogenic substrate assay. (1)
The antibody blocks the invasion of a human tPA-expressing melanoma cell line (MeWo) in an in vitro assay system. (2)
