Haemostaseological diagnostics in connection with COVID-19

Recent publications have covered the implications of COVID-19 for hemostaseological complications in patients.
The GTH and ISTH societies are recommending monitoring some coagulation parameters in assessing the prognosis in COVID-19 patients requiring hospitalisation, for e.g. D-Dimer.
